general anxiety disorder with others

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I am canadian, I have recentley been diagnosed with gad, social phobia ocd and the list goes on. I knew I always had problems, but just dealt with it, I am 52. just recentley been off for over a year with a bulding disc and was on workers compensation. They would not pay me any longer, so I tried to go on disability thru my work . They denied the claim . I have been back to work, and my anxiety is thru the roof, I feel like I could comit a murder. I am seeing a phyciatrist again soon. Can they deny me short term disability . I have read thru the policy and I am on medication for it. But I just have a bad feeling. They may say that I am just preteneding so I can be off again. What do you think? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
