In the state of oregon, is it legal to keep a patient that was admitted against their will, due to a suicide attempt, after the 72 hour observation period? Note, after observing the patient, the psychiatrist told the patient that they are not mental, and do not belong here.

I find that hard to believe (and there's a reason why I'd say that).

But, that aside, are you the patient?
