What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama

I have been going to a state methadone clinic for about 3 years now. The other day my counselor told my husband without me present that I was not going to be able to have my medication for the day because I appeared under the influence.

I had to take a drug test and she told my husband what the drug test was positive for. My counselor or my husband did not know it but I was right down the hall and heard it all. I just wanted to know if this is a violation of my rights and if so if I might have a case

It is likely that you gave permission for them to speak to your husband at the time you enrolled with the clinic.
