What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? _California_

Well there is two problems that I will mention one is about my multiple past medical diagnosis and one medical diagnosis that could have cost him his life.

Mine consisted of several doctors, who I believe judged my ongoing back pain for over a year as just a condition caused by my weight only no other factors according to them was the cause of my pain I kept telling them it wasnt but my pleas were unheard until the point I where I could no longer walk and i was bedridden for 3 weeks. After the damage was all done it turns out I had 2 herniated disks. Since then I have had surgery and i am currently undergoing physical therapy.

In my fathers cause everything was rather fast and unexpected. For about 2 months my father had difficulty breathing, sleeping, and any exercise tired him quickly. Then my father went to his doctor; who works in a very crowded clinic, kept telling him he had asthma and never fully mentioned to him he had diabetes my father mostly speaks spanish so a translator would have been great and our insurance covers that yet nothing was done. In the following month he had a heart attack and in the MRI taken because of it the doctors found fluid in his lungs that was the real cause of his fatigue and shortness of breath.

So in short I think that there is a possibility that there is a case if not thank you for any advice my appreciation is unending. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Was a translator actually requested? Was he being treated for diabetes?

Weight can exacerbate back issues. According to your previous thread, your Physician referred you to a specialist, PT, and ordered x-rays...all of which are appropriate and well within the standard of care. Unfortunately, the two week pre-authorization protocol your insurance company requires for non-emergent illness/injury is not your Physician's responsibility.

So, you were present at your Father's office visits and that how you know exactly what was discussed, what tests were ordered, what medications were prescribed, and that a translator wasn't present/requested/offered?
