kentucky-- I was charged with 3 counts trafficking controlled substance first degree Class C felon _____ this is my first drug offence my past record is just small stuff like driven on suspended... my ple bargain was 6 1/2 years but while I was at court my lawyer said I could work for the D.A office.. I went to my local KSP and talked with them. I was asked if I was doing it for $$ or was I wanting to work off charges. I told him I was looking at working off my charges that I didn't want $$ Can the detective have a say somewhat about my charges being dropped to the D.A's office? He stated to me that if I do good work that I could walk away from the mess as long as I got 4 to 5 others. Have anyone ever heard of something like that? Also as long as I work for them as a informant can my trial be postponed to a later date? He said his words to the D.A office can make a difference on how I would walk or go to pin, that the D.A office listens to alot of what he has to say on if I did a good job or not. I'm wanting to know cause I dont wanna be used an not get me anything good out of it,,, I messed up and all I wanna do is change my life for my kids sake.. I need advice from someone who know about the law or has went though similar situation as I am. I thought I could ask you. your replys on others seem like u know about some things

I saw a post you replied to and was hoping you could take a look at options? In the prob., parole section. I have tell 2011 on my probation. I owe 1400$, right now I cant free up money to pay my probation fees off, because I'm paying my lawyer too much. A MTP has not been put out on me, there seems to be a mix up between my original county, and the county I transferred to. Nobody knows who I answer to. Another factor, my lawer is my originating probation officers husband. What do you think? Thank you!!

In my DWI charge I was arrested by a guy I went to high school with, I know for a FACT he wouldnt hold up on the stand. During my HGN and VGN test he screwed up pretty bad by administering each test way different. One was in fast forward the other normal speed. The NHTSA states that for the tests to have accurate results they must be administered the same. My lawyer sent a request to DPS for the video the day after the arrest. I wanted to say thank you for responding to my post regarding the appeal question I had in the state of PA. Do you mind me asking about your general legal background? Well I guess that's rhetorical since I am asking anyway.... Are you an attorney, law school graduate...? I was reading through your posts and you seem to consistently provide accurate and unbiased information.
