    What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky What will happen at the first probate hearing of someone who died without a will? I know it is supposed to be posted in the newspaper if anyone has any debts against the estate. Can debts be presented against the estate at the first hearing?

    What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky My brother just passed away he had been separated from his wife for almost a year now he didnt have a will. He moved to another county. Will his estate be probated in the county he lived and died in or in the county where his wife lives?
