    credit card court questions

    Illinois- I have a debt with Discover maxed at 6,200. With late fees etc it's close to 8,200. I have talked to Discover's lawyers and they wanted 5,701 to settle. I offered 4,500. They declined and I later called to offer 5,000 and now they want 5,647. I have no idea where they get these...
