My advice is based on once being the child in a split situation, working for 30+ years in the mental health field and seeing cases that improve by 1 person deciding they don't want this crap for their child, they want peace. I do in that advice stay within the legalities, my advice is an option, there are usually other options you legally have to, it's for you to decide which you would like to try. If I don't give you other options, that is because someone else already did in your thread.
