    Thank you so much for your advice. So am I safe to assume that after February '09 when the SOL runs out I do not have to send any more voluntary payments??

    Hi there, thanks for the advice - but what about the $500 advance from his automatic deposit? He will be getting paid again next Friday, Nov7th. I know the deposit goes into the accout immediately at 12 am. Should I call the bank exactly at that time, (because at that time, they also immediately take back the $500 loan, plus $50 in interest), and close the account, so that I'm not going to be liable for that loan? And if he gets ugly i.e. threatening me or my kids, should I get a restraining order against him? I feel like such an idiot for getting involved with this loser, but it is what it is - or rather, was. Thanks so much - lstevens
