What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? washington state

my 'husband' declared divorce on saturday and wants to sign the papers tomorrow (tuesday). we would have been married for 4 yrs this august, and we have a daughter who just turned 3. what am i entitled to? what do i need to do before signing the divorce papers? oh, and im not from washington state, we just got stationed here back in october. im originally from texas (both of us are).

consult with an attorney. don't sign anything unless you FULLY look at it.

you are entitled to half the marital assets and half the marital debt.
