"All Ranks Club"

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Michigan

I am planning on starting an "All Ranks Club" at the Company/Troop level. Basically I want to cover all the legal aspects such as liability, liquor license, and tax codes. We do plan on selling alcohol, but there will be a lot more to it. Pizza, pop, snacks, games and all kinds of good stuff. Basically its for the benefit of all involved, so I am looking at it like basically they would be donating the money and in return they get snacks, food, and everything else. However as I was discussing with my battle buddy, we dont want to get into any trouble if one of the guys would happen to drink to much, then leave and get in an accident. Even god forbid die. Also if we do have liquor and beer do we really need a license?? There might even be more laws that I may not even thinking about. Please help!! Thanks,

You need at least 10 million dollars (USD) in liability insurance.

Go out and work in your proposed business for at least 5 years, learn every aspect and all the laws. You then might have the knowledge to operate your proposed business. The failure rate of small business start ups from folks that have an excellent knowledge of the business is about 90%. The failure rate for those that have no knowledge is 100%.
