Arrested AWOL & released as OTH

What is the name of your state? TX

I was arrested in Chicago,IL for being an AWOL.Live warrant was also issued to arrest me.
I was hel at local chicago jail and then i was sent to Fort Knox and was released in September 2004.

I was working as Software developer from last 1.5 years. Now i have applied to fortune 50 company and worried about the detailed background check and finger printing process( This is very detailed as comapre to the basic background check that my previous employers did).I am worried what the back ground report shows ...Charges?? and Conviction ??? ..Is it removed from the records...Sample Background check lists Arrest and Conviction ... so i am not sure what should be there in Arrest and Conviction section ..Please Provide some info ...really confused ..what should i explain to HR if they ask about it ..

YOU TELL THEM THE TRUTH! OTHERWISE IF YOU DO NOT AND, IT WILL SOONER OR LATER SHOW UP, THEN MOST LIKELY THEY WILL DISCHARGE YOU FOR FALSIFYING INFORMATION ON YOUR EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION; AND IN RETURN, THIS WILL ALSO FOLLOW YOU TO YOUR NEXT POSSIBLE JOB!

What happened while you were at Ft. Knox?

Did you have a Chapter 10? Did you get an OTH?

Were you court martialed?

for all the people saying Active Duty and PP soldiers don't get OTH'd google the name Daryl Anderson he's the guy who went AWOL to Canada for almost 2 years and last week turned himself in Sill and he was gone in 3 days with an OTH, his lawyer struck the deal the papers say but regardless it happened.
