AWOL Wife

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN
My husband has been AWOL from the Army for almost 90 days. he turned himself in last Saturday at Ft. Knox, KY. He rode with his parents down to the Visitors Center (I imagine) on base. He then had to tell his parents bye and force them to leave. I'm still trying to get use to all of this crap, but I need to know how long exactly does the out-processing actually takes?
Since he went to the Visitor's Center, does that do anything wierd on his out-processing?
Now I've been told the best day to get in is on a Tuesday and you'll leave on Friday. Now my husband left on a Saturday and it's been a week today that he's been gone and been at Ft. Knox.

Also.....is it really all that it takes. I mean looking from several experiences I see that everything happens within a few days, but for some odd reason my husband has been there for 7 days. What would be the reason as to why it's taking longer than expected?

Please reply asap. Sitting in in IN, and wondering if I'm still an Army Wife still stresses me to the point of wanting to head down there myself to find out what's going on.

AWOL wife

Sorry dear but if your husband really cares he could have phoned you, at least have the decency to tell you the truth. Go on! Confront him at least you'll know the real score. How about your in-laws? Have you tried calling them? I hope wives can go on AWOL too
