Being forced to take leave

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? APO AE

My 1SG is forcing me to take 3 days of leave due to the fact that my daughter is ill and was placed on quarters for 72 hours. I had the understanding that as a single parent when your child is on quarters you are automatically authorized to stay home and care for your sick child. I even offered to bring her into work with me so I would'nt have to take leave and I was told that I could not. I would like to make sure I know what the deal is for sure before I go to my IG.

Taking a sick kid to work? You crazy, that will get everyone else sick, not to mention kids don't belonve at work. There's nothign saying a Single Parent gets time off, maybe your workcenter can hook you up... You have Leave for a reason, this is one of them.
