can i get emancipated before i become active duty?


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
hi im 17 and in the ARMY reserves tell i finish my fall semester at wcc. in jan. i become active and ill still be a minor. i heard you get emancipated as soon as you become active duty.
but i was wondering if i could get emancipated now?
i basicilly live at a niether place 4 nites out of the week already. i have $1000+ in my checking account and only 3 months tell i ship.
i cant live with my mother since she bailed her boyfriend out of jail.
and need some quick advice
plz if you know anything help
????

you'll have to wait it out or find a lawyer to file the paper work for you. my advise is to roll with it and youll be out in less than 90 days.

Unless you can show that you are currently capable of financially supporting yourself, you will not be emancipated.
