Can a Soldier request to be court martial (ed) over a General Officer Letter Of Repri

I recieved a GOMOR with no basis- the GO completely ignored my rebuttal..followed by a referred OER. On my life I am innoncent, third year of my first AGR Tour...What can I? Waiting in Florida

The only way to have done that is to have challenged the facts in your rebuttal while daring the GO to force a Courts-Martial.

I just went through this, only the other way around. Fought NJP, went to Summary Courts Martial, Objected to force a Special Courts Martial, and then got the GOMOR in Lieu of SCM. The Rebuttal put the dare out there, and the GOMOR went to my local file to be removed when I left Iraq 6 weeks later.

Your only recourse at this point would be to start a Congressional Inquiry. Contact Rep Ginny Brown-Waite (R-FL). She has always been a helpful advocate for individual troops in need.
