Change RE-4 Code???

I was enlisted in the U.S. Navy and after serving 2 years I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and was given and honorable discharge. I am an only daughter and I joined right after high school and my first command was oversees in Japan. There in Japan I met a fellow co worker and we had a relationship. After about a little over a year things didn't work out and we broke up. I was so used to being with him especially underway and in port visits that when we broke up I thought I couldn't do it without him. At that moment I didn't want to be in the military no more. I wanted to be as far away as I could from him and wanted to go back home. I used to be a Personnel Specialist so I knew that if I went to talk to the phycologists and told him what I was going through he would still not be able to help me get out. So I took a couple of pills and they took me to the hospital. It was nothing major but that's when the phycologist then asked me if I wanted to get out that he would be able to help me. At that moment that's all I wanted so I said "yes". He then diagnosed me with borderline personality disorder. I received and honorable discharge with an re-4 code due to a personality disorder. Now that I am better I want to change my re code. I want to join the police department but I am afraid that even though I recieved an honorable discharge that with my re-4 code I won't be able to enlist in the police department. Is there any way I could and what are the possibilities of changing my re code? Any help will ge greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It will not be possible for you to change your RE code unless it was given in error. From what you have said it was not.
