What is the name of your state? AK (AKA) Hell
I pull these out of the Alaska e-post online and post them here as reference only, goes to show some commands do not tolerate AWOL

"Pvt. (E-2) Jonathan T. Bates, A Company, 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, was convicted and sentenced at a summary court-martial.

Bates was convicted of being absent without leave for 14 days in June 2007, and for the months of August and September 2007, along with two charges for failure to report to formation.

He was also convicted of wrongfully appropriating a backhoe from a construction company.

He was reduced to private (E-1), ordered to forfeit $867, and given 45 days of hard labor."

And NO HE IS NOT BEING DISCHARGED
