diabetes: MEB?I'm currently active duty navy, and the specialist doctor I am seeing just diagnosed me with diabetes. Here are the questions I have. Does the navy allow a sailor with diabetes to stay in? Should I be expecting an MEB? If they do want to do a MEB on me, are they going to discharge me, or retire me? If I get retired, what kind of rating do you think I'll get? I'd really appreciate any input! Thanks guys. |

How did they come to this diagnosis? Did they run a HBA1C on your blood? How high is your sugar? These days doctors seem to love finding everybody diabetic. How much time do you have in? What is your rank? The more information you provide will help in providing a better answer. Good luck Last edited by thepizzaguy; 05-17-2006 at 09:06 PM. Reason: punctuation |

Are you taking medication or using diet and exercise to control it?
