What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ga

Brief overview: I am being recommended for an article 15 to my command by my PSG for failing to report, basically being late to work. Why was I late? because I slept in. I didn't do this intentionally though since returning from deployment I have been experiencing sleep issues. basically I can't wake up, or have to be physically shaken to be woken up. I am currently seeking medical help in figuring out this issue but due to the slow process of the DOD medical world it is taking time. Most recently was a sleep study that indicated neuro issue. I now wait, yet again, to get back to my PCM to see if I'll be referred to Neuro.

I take steps to counter the issue. My wife wakes me up when the alarms go off and I have an alarm that violently shakes my pillow. That said sometimes plans fail.

Note. The "failure to report" has only occurred three times, each time about a month or so apart. besides those three negative counselings I have never had one in 5 years of service, nor an article 15. What I am asking is do I have any options legally since the reasons behind my issue is an unresolved medical condition that I'm actively attempting to reconcile. If I go to JAG is there anything I can do? Or do I just suck it up and take the punishment and drive on?
