Question

dui navy. 1st time .091

What is the name of your state? IL

I WAS WONDERING IF YOU ARE CHARGED WITH A DUI ON A DD1408 AND YOU HAVE A SUPENSION NOTICE IN THE CIVILIAN COURT.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOUR LICENSE IN ANOTHER STATE.

DOES THE MILITARY USUALLY SEND THERE OWN TO CIVIAL COURT, FOR AN ON BASE OFFENSE.?

I BLEW A 0.091 ON THE BREATH TEST. THEY RELEASED ME TO MY CDO. MY COMMAND IS PROBABLY GOING TO TAKE ME TO MAST. BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY LISCENSE. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH A BABY WHO GOES TO DAY CARE ON BASE. I KNOW THE BASE IS OFF LIMITS BUT WHAT ABOUT IN TOWN. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME.. MY COURT IS ON BASE. CONFUSED..THANKS

Well I think for sure they can't send you to civilian court and court on base for the same thing period. There was a case with a guy called Ashe, it went to the supreme court, same exact thing, he got a dui and his command masted him and they tried to get him tried in civilian court.

My question is can they send you to mast on base and traffic court on base for the same thing?

Question

Concern Corpsman

MY THING IS THIS.. I BEEN GIVEN A SUMMERY OF SUSPENSION NOTICE IN THE LOCAL CIRCUIT COURT.. OK...BUT I GOT A DD 1408 ON BASE. THE M A TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE THE OPTION TO SEND A REPORT OF SOME KIND TO MY STATE LETTING THEM KNOW I WAS CONVICTED OF DUI ON THE BASE. i WONDER HOW THIS ALL WORKS. i WAS ALSO TOLD THAT IT COULD JUST BE THAT MY DRIVING ON BASE IS SUSPENDED BUT NOT IN TOWN. CAN A MAGISTRATE OF THE NAVY SEND THIS TO COURT OUT IN TOWN. WONDERING WHAT THE OUT COME OF THIS WILL BE.

PLUS I BLEW A .091 ON THE BREAT TEST THAT IS 0.011 OVER THE LIMIT. WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE TO A JUDGE.

AND WHAT ACTIONS CAN I TAKE TO PROTECT MYSELF IN A MILITARY HEARING WITH OUT A LAWYER PRESENT.
