FYI: Important Telephone Numbers for Military Awolers or Deserters!


What is the name of your state? OHIO

FYI: Very Important Information, "FOR All MILITARY PERSONNEL."

Welcome all new members to FreeAdvice.

1. For ALL that are AWOL/DESERTED, and want to know if there is a Federal Warrant
-~issued for your Arrest, you should contact the FBI, or your locale Police or Sheriff
-~Departments[s] for this information! Make no mistake in that once you are AWOL
-~for a time period of 30 full days or more without the required authorized permission,
-~then, you will be declared as a DESERTER, and a Federal Warrant will be issued for
-~your Arrest!

2. The following source is for Military members & their families of our Armed Forces. No
-~problem is to big, nor to little for assistance. Contact a Military OneSource consultant
-~for assistance with a particular issue. Please use the phone numbers listed below 24/7.

5. The Army Deserter Information Point: (502)626-3711 NO longer discloses the "DFR"
-~status as it once did!

6. United States Navy: (847) 688-2106 (or toll free: 1-800-423-7633)

7. FOR MARINES WHO ARE UA/DESERTED, CALL COLLECT IF NEEDED: (703)614-3248, or 2934.
-~This unit of the Marine Corps will provide you with Straggler Orders, Airline Ticket, etc.

8. THE GI RIGHTS HOTLINE: 1-800-394-9544, and there website is:

I think posting these numbers on a sticky note is Great!
Thought it might be helpful if you could add a little something to it. Obviously more ua/awol questions are being posted as recruiters need bodies, mislead and recruit/accept those they otherwise would/should not.
If you could add "Rights" between GI and Hotline and their website, girights.org, many of these questions could be answered for them there.
I feel obligated to donate to the organization. They're overwhelmed.
