What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA/KY/TX

I applied to have my GI Bill Chapter 30 extended due to the fact that my husband (now ex) was injured in Kuwait while I was in school and ended up having to drop out to care for him. Whilst caring for him my 10 yrs ran out and I did not bother going back to school because I did not think I could get my benefits extended.

I plan to appeal this but I was wondering if anyone knew of any cases where a person was successful in getting their delimiting date extended in a similar situation to myself.
