Help

On the night of my 18th birthday, i recieved a citation for underage drinking. The time of my citation was 11:45, at which i was still 17. They breathalized me and i blew a .01. Someone had told me that if you blow a .01, you can ask to be rebreathalized but the officiers denied my request. However, when we went to court, it was mid-august and since most of us were leaving for college in a week, they said they would give us all disorderly conducts so we wouldn't have to do community service. They said that if anyone wanted a seperate trial, they could get it but they didn't recommend it. My friends dad who is a laywer told me to just take the disorderly conduct so i did. This all happened in the state of Pennsylvania.

Now i am a junior in college. I am very involved in community service but i feel restricted because i am always dodging certian activities that require a background check. I am unsure if my disorderly conduct would even show up on background check, considering i was still under 18 when it was issued. Is there anyway that it wouldn't show up or to make it go away? Thanks. I will take any advice i can gtWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

expungement

If you really feel that bad about it then get an expungement on that record.

meaning that it completely gets taken off of the books.

However disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor, and many people have them.

DC comes in with many types of offenses and it is as rampant as the Clap is in a sex education practical exam. However you can still get it expunged.

Before you were 18 it will show up in a juvenile record, however it will not show up as adult, unless you were tried as an adult in the case.
