helping someone go AWOL


What is the name of your state? NV
Was curious if there is any punishment for helping someone or someones go AWOL

Ok,If you are thinking of doing something like that yes there is a punishment....Government Offical is what you are trying to help......Anyone that is in Navy or other military is gov and that gets you punishment...
By the way,Why would you want to help that person go AWOL????And ask yourself"Is it worth it?"

There certainly *can* be, though it often isn't charged. "Conspiracy" (18 U.S.C. 371) is one of the most powerful weapons in the federal government's arsenal. Just hope they never use it on you. At a lesser level, you could certainly get NJP for assisting someone to go UA. For a variety of reasons it doesn't seem to be charged very often, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be.

well its isnt myself helping out its someone else i know and i dont think they know what they are getting themselves into
