How Can I get my RE-4 code changed

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
I was discharged in july of 2004 from the US Navy. The reason that I was being discharged was of a mental disability. I have been cleared on the mental disability and was looking to reinlist. I never read the dd214 when I was being discharged so I did not see that they put on their that I failed a drug test. I made it most of the way thru basic training and there was no way that I could have failed a drug test. I now want to get my re-4 code upgraded and dont know what I can do to get this done. Any information on how to do so would be greatly appreciated.

You can never upgrade or change your RE code.

Actually he can go to his local VA office and they will help with the paper work to apply for an upgrade. Since it was for drugs the chances are very slim.

I have a silly question. Why are you here looking for advice if you know so much?

My advice is accurate, an RE code can never be changed.
