I self ID into Alcohol treatmentWhat is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Alaska I self identified into alcohol treatment, and now am facing adverse actions. I ahve been removed from my suffix afsc as a k9 handler. I jsut was trying to find out if its legal for them to take this kind of action for this reason. |

| If you checked in yourself, and there is no way that the command would have any idea about your problem, then what they did is likely in violation of regulations regarding anonymity of the alcohol treatment program. That said, because you failed to mention your branch of service, duty location, or any facts regarding how it came to pass that you checked yourself in, or whether your command would have any idea about any potential alcohol problem, I cannot help you further.
