I was brought to GCM on 10 charges, carrying a total of over 8 yrs confinement. I either beat or had dismissed all of them, but was found guilty of a lesser included offense carrying a max punishment of 6mos. I would like to find out what collateral damage that has to my record with regards to (foremost) being considered a felony, but also for VA benefits (I was charged/convicted as a reservist, but have a DD214 from my 10yrs active period with a break in service), voting, firearms, etc.

Where do I start looking? I know it depends on my state, and have started looking into Indiana Code, but I could use some pointers on what I am looking for, like search terms or common nomenclature.

Thank you in advance.
