IRR in 2008

Ok, So I got orders for recall.

I am wanting to know anyone has heard of IRR no shows being prosecuted. All the info I can find has been in 2004-2005 range, but nothing in late 2007-2008. If no one is being prosecuted, or getting something major, I see no reason why I should go. I have a nice life, and I don't want it ruined. Any help or links would be great.

thank you in advance.

Sileo

You need to HONOR your Military Service Obligation

People have been prosecuted . . . it's just not newsworthy

And you are certain that you are being deployed? Why not go and deal with the inconvenience of being off the couch for a day. You are in the IRR so I assume you are serving out the commitment you made and signed on the dotted line for.
I am sure that you are having no trouble using the commissary and exchange privileges you are getting.

Did you fall asleep in TAP class?
