Cool

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Hello Sir or Madam:
Thank you for taking the time to read my case. I served a little over 3 years as a medic for the army. Like most, I was lied to a bit during the sign-up process, so I very quickly began accumulating reservations. Many things built up on my mind causing me to take vacation from Baghdad and live peacefully in the Caribbean. That was almost 2 years ago. I had an immaculate career, promoting early always, and good scores on everything. I served in Afghanistan and Iraq twice. Do I have a shot at a general or honorable discharge? Can I possibly be a teacher one day? I know there are a few more details to discuss, but the internet cafe is closing. Thanks again for hearing me out. joe deserter

You have zero chance of an honorable discharge and a very slim chance at general. The most plausible discharge is going to be a general under other than honorable or BCD.

Agreed.

You deserted during wartime.

You have no chance at an honorable discharge.
