Just a quick question


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca
I posted on here before. But it just turned into a argument because the people posting replies were just running there mouths.
I was permanent party in Carson for like 2-3 months, during the time I never got in trouble. received no punishments. artical 15s or anything. went awol in late may because my mental state of mind.
im turning myself in this weekend. From what I can tell im going to be sent back to my unit. which is stressing me out. Can someone whos been there tell me how permanent party members were discharged with a general oth managed to do it? or what there situation was.
I was a e-2 18 years old when I left. no security clearance, nothing out of the ordinary.

Just looking at your history it is pretty doubtful you are going to go through with this.

Ft. Carson information


I have done several cases at Ft. Carson as a civilian attorney with a variety of outcomes.

Best case scenario was a soldier who went AWOL while on leave from Iraq. I was able to get him chaptered out with only an OTH .

And I had another one that is not in the press that even got an Honorable discharge.

Worst case scenario is a serious prosecution. If the prosecution can make the charges stick, they do really hammer people on sentences at Carson. Of my clients who have been court-martialed, the sentences have been 8 months (for desertion with strong mental health mitigation), 14 months (for desertion before a deployment for reasons of conscience) and 15 months (for desertion after seeking asylum in Canada
All of that is to say is that there is hope but you need to be ready to fight for your rights. Good luck!
