Looking to joing the ANG but told I must wait a year

Delaware

I am interested in joining the ANG. (Air National Guard)
I was told I must wait one year from the date I had taken Xanax.
I have not been diagnosed with anything and the Doctor at the free clinic has checked me out several times and says I am completely healthy.

Section 2-27 is what I was referred to for me being unable to join.

I do not see where it clearly stays that I am unable to join. The year long absence from medication seems to apply only to those in subsections a and b.

The Xanax was given to me in order to calm me down and I haven't had to use it.

Is there anything I can do? I haven't talked to my doctor yet and I'm not sure the recruiter completely understood my situation.

I really want to join the ANG.
