What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Montana

A few years ago I went through a court martial proceeding. The outcome was a bad conduct discharge, 75 days confinement, and E-3 to E-1. Before that I had almost served 2 years. I came in as an E-3, and received the below the zone award promoting me earlier than usual. No write ups and no criminal record for anything. I had a second job at AAFES and it was there that I got in trouble. Anyway, the synopsis is that I was brought in around midnight in August after being up since 4am and I asked if I needed a lawyer. The investigators said they just needed my help resolving something. They already had so much evidence and that I just needed to tell my story. Tired and feeling like I was done, I made my statement, signed it and spent the next 3 months on the trouble squad. During that time I felt like my attorney was set on making the deal was the best option. I'm not sure he was all that interested in my case as he was getting ready to PCS elsewhere. He made me feel like all I could do is accept punishment. I was fine with that because they said I had a chance to redeem myself afterwards doing this special program. But I was denied that by the convening authority. I just wanted to right my wrong but was denied. Anyway, After my release I just left on my own. I didn't ask the air force to pay for me to move back home. I did it out of pocket even though I never got paid since the court martial.

Almost 4 years later, I still have no discharge papers, no dd form 214. Nada! Ummm.. Shouldn't I have gotten them by now? I guess I was just so disappointed in the system I shut it out for years. I really wanted to stay in and do that program. Essentially its as an E-1 in North Carolina in an environment similar to jail and basic combined. I wanted to do that and the wing commander thought he had no choice but deny me on the grounds of...I don't know. I just need help with the paperwork that's all. It was good to vent though.. thanks!
