My fiancee is currently a new recruit in the US Navy. He has been there for less than two weeks, but more than nine days. I think the limit for Processing is nine days, but not certain. He called today from a pay phone saying he isn't going to get to graduate, and that he is waiting for a waiver for medical discharge for his hearing. (**He had to get a waiver for his hearing to get into the navy.) Is this a written in stone, will they send him home? If so, how long will it take for him to come home?

Apparnetly even though he had a waiver, his hearing disability was to profound to be safely accommodated. he should know soon how long before he is discharged.
