Medical Discharge

What is the name of your state? North Carolina. I am writing because I am in the process of getting chaptered out of the army for being overweight. However, I was curious if my DD 214 will note that I have been chaptered out for weight, or does it just say honorable discharge?

The undeleted section of your dd214 will contain the narrative reason for seperation and a seperation code. Simply put the answer is yes

You will receive two copies of your dd214 one of them will be longer (literally) as it contains extra information as to the type of your discharge, re-enlistment code, narrative reasons, and narrative codes.

Good luck

clburner, "thepizzaguy" are right on point in his reply to your answers. Also, if possible, it would be to your advantage to request to speak with a "JAG" Officer to get the meaning or explanation as to what does your RE Code assigned mean as well as your SPN code number that both will be on your DD214. Lastly, "thepizzaguy" did you get my private reply? Shorty out!

I did not say undeleted section. I said you will receive two copies of your dd214. one will be longer than the other.

The first one is considered the deleted copy

the second one is considered the "undeleted" copy

Undeleted is a condradiction in terms, oxymoron, double negative. Yes all the above. Anyway that is what they call it.

The "undeleted copy" is the one that all your unpotentialy, unfuture, undeleted, unneedle nosing, unrelenting, unpain in the ass ununderstanding what it even means unemployers want to see. Even though they are not supposed to beable to see this unsupposedly unavailable document.

Good Luck and I hope you understand
