What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida FSS Chapter 115.07 states you will not lose vacation time, however the County I work for has a ppm that states you will not acrual vacation time while on active duty. Does the State law supercede the local county ppm?

Also, FSS Chapter 115.14 ...states the employing authority may supplement the military pay of its officials and employees who are reservists called to active military service after the first 30-days in an amount necessary to bring their total salary, inclusive of their base military pay, to the level earned at the time called to active duty. Does this mean only off the base salary?

Thank you!

Which is your question: (1) how much do they have to pay you or (2) did they overpay someone else? The law you quoted allows, but does not require, supplemental pay.

So if your question is #1, they are not required to pay you anything. However, they are allowed to provide a supplement. You would have to look at your agency's policy to learn whether and how much they would supplement your pay and under what conditions. If your question is #2, I would look at the entire state law to see how they define things and then look at the agency's policy so see how it is addressed.
