| You need to take a statement from a medical doctor confirming your pregnancy and expected delivery date to your unit commander. You will be counseled about your options and if you are eligible for discharge or reassignment to the Inactive National Guard due to your pregnancy. Options vary depending on if you've completed IADT and if your contract was a result of participation in a federal subsidized program.
If you are eligible for separation and chose that option, it will not be considered a "medical" separation, it will be a voluntary administrative separation. |
