need help for transfer of units

I am trying to change units. My Command is very unhappy with this decision, go figure. They are blocking my xfr to another unit. I want to know if anyone out there has dealt with this before and where to go for help.

Could you elaborate some more on your situation? Rank? why you want to transfer? What have you done so far to try and get transfer? I'm interested in what you have to say to be honest. I would love to transfer out of my unit but it's a fact that once your in my unit in the 3rd ID your stuck here for life.

CW2, transfer because unit is transitioning to new aircraft, I do not wish to go through the transfer to a new mos, and I wish to go to another unit

Try going to whoever is oversees your Command; and be ready for
a backlash, that is most likely and sad to say consequences from
trying this.

It doesn't sound like he's trying to avoid overseas duty...

It sounds like he's a chopper pilot, and his unit is getting a new airframe, and he doesn't want to go through the hastle of training to go fly it. I'm assuming the transfer is to another unit that operates your current airframe?

To be honest, have you tried calling PERSCOMM and seeing what they have to say?
