NJP Evidence HandlingWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia Recently I had a Non-Judicial Punishment case against me, during the investigation i found out that the Preliminary Investigating Officer (PIO) had given copies of emails that were used as evidence in my case to some one who was not apart of the Investigation, this persons only role was he is the person that placed me on report. Is it legal for the PIO to give these private emails to my supervisor. Last I thought, the only people that should have been able to read those emails were the PIO, CO, XO, my mast rep, and anyone I so choose. Any info would be great!! |
