I had been in the ROTC for a year and a half and just recently got diagnosed with ADD. I don't see how this can be a problem. If I was in it without medication and able to function fine, why can I not when I am taking medication that will make me function better? Before this I was still allowed to be in the ROTC taking depression medication. I am just really frustrated over such a stupid rule. |
You are not allowed in the military for 1 (or is it 2?) years after you stop taking medications for treatment of ADD - I know it sucks, but they are mind-altering drugs.
