| Pending Separation from the Army
I am possibly being chaptered out of the Army for two article 15s even though one was because of extreme hardships that may even violate human rights. (got less than 3 hours of sleep dailey while pulling 18 hours of guard and ten working hard manual labhor after that. Sometimes if people were sick or they wanted to change the guard shift up would have to pull two shifts in a row, had hardly any contact with home because of so little time).So because of all this and even though other people were caught doing the same thing I fell asleep on guard. The second articel 15 was for having my kevlar off on guard. But we were told by our NCOs that we could take it off for up to 5 minutes and hour for a rest. My proof was thrown out by my command and they charged me for my second article. now since I am deployed, im going to be chaptered out of the Army. I only have 4 months left! This can't be legal we must have some rights in the army! Not to mention I have been to IG twice about this matter, so I think I am being singled out because my chain of command out there are mad that I told on them. No one will do an investigation, and sit down and ask witnesses questions, they justt do what they want! Also i was on guard points with weapons that I have never qualified on which according to the Guard duty FM is wrong! |
