Please help

CA Hi my name is Burgundy. I am a male-female transexual in Los Angeles. I am not gay and am planning to become a man again(I have breasts but not the full surgery). Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to join the Marines as an Infantryman. I plan on joining, and I guess I don't violate the don't ask/don't tell policy because I am not gay. However this is something I won't be able to hide, and does anyone think this may prevent me from qualifying at MEPS? I want to eventually be a drill instructor and want to serve 20 years, and don't want a few stupid decisions I made ruin my life. Whenever I talk to the recruiters they just want to hook-up with me, and it is really getting to me, they thinkI'm just playing around but I sure am serious. I am fully physically fit, I run every day and lift weights. Is there any regulation that can prevent a woman like me from joining?

even if their is no regulation agsinst it---i think that it might be dangerous, you would be different and would be targeted, it would probably be a hard life

Your Are Crazy. I seriously doubt that you will even make it in. Once you go to meps and take that physical the **** is going to hit the fan. Im pretty sure they will do EVERYTHING to keep you from joining. Which in reality is probably the best thing for you. Being a transexual in the USMC infantry is the most ridiculous thing I've heard of in quite some time. I would consider taking your career in a different direction
