The police picked up my husband for being awol

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

Ok so yesterday morning the sheriff came to our apartment and arrested him. He is now in holding at the jail. His mom and I watched him appear in front of the judge this morning and all they said is that they are holding him until they have further contact with the army.

Does anyone know how long he will be there before going to pcf? He wen't awol from ait April 20th 2009 so he has been awol just under 6 months. They said he might be there for a week but I would like to hear something from someone that isn't the police if you know what I mean.

Also if you want to say bad things about me or my husband then stop reading right here and get off this post. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I won't take bad things being said about my husband. He went awol because he was depressed and they would not help him. He broke his leg in basic and had to stay at a place called PTRP (where I met him) and a long stay in there then going straight to ait takes a toll on people. If you say something bad about me or my husband I will respond back to you and it will not be nice.

Thanks for any advice or anything that will make me feel better.

I'd be ridiculing you and saying something bad about you if I told you so you'll just have to figure that one out on your own. Don't want to go against your wishes

Ok so maybe you and that other person need to take yourselves elsewhere because you have obviously never been in a situation like this so you wouldn't know what it's like. I don't need ignorance. If you don't know anything about someones situation don't open their post. There are a lot of rude people on here but this is the only website I can find that people talk about this kind of thing.

DIRTDVL or Eraupike will be along shortly, I'm sure. They'll tell you that they don't have a crystal ball either and can't say with certainly when your awol hubby will be picked up.

I know you don't need ignorance honey (I wasn't being ignorant ~ I was being snarky at your arrogance)...you've got a big enough supply of self-made ignorace.

I only said what I did because I have read through some of these posts as well as the comments and they almost all seem to be very rude and inconsiderate. The only thing I am ignorant about is how long he is going to be at the jail. And I am quite aware no one on here can tell me how long he will be there. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I do not have self made ignorance. I know exactly whats going to happy once he gets out of the jail. And you may want to call me arrogant and I don't care because at least I know what I want and what I will do and could care less what people have to say about that.

I guess I don't have to report the status of the crystal ball now... And all I can say is GOOD!!!

Wah wah wah. He spent a long time in IET status. Sell that one to a Mandarin Linguist (22 months total in IET). I bet he wasn't there that long...

He was there for 20 months along with 18 of those months with not being able to leave one building except to go to the hospital or when he was walked to chow, along with everyone else there. You shouldn't be so quick to assume things.

20 < 22, not 20 = 22. Need I say more?

Didn't really take to math too well in school either, huh?

ETA: 1 month is 4 weeks. 2 months is twice that.

Hmmm... far be it from me to think this is another in the "if you get me pregnant they won't take you away" defense plan....

Did your hubby just think this would go away?
