Possible Medical Discharge for eye injury?

What is the name of your state? Florida

I am a member of the Army National Guard and I am a military police officer and while it did not happen in service, I recently had an accident where my right eye got injured and i had to go under emergency surgery. My lens was permanently removed and an infection has settled in it'll take at least 3 months for it to heal to an extent where my doctor will attempt to place an artificial lens in the eye. This second operation will limit my vision and wont allow me to focus my sight at all i will be limited to a set distance of perception. And like any other invasive surgery the eye might reject the lens. The whole procedure has made me unable to work as i cant strain my body in any way as it will aggravate my injury further. Is it possible that i could be discharged as this is the eye i use to shoot?
