questions about desertion

What is the name of your state?TN

I would like to know if there is a way to find out (by website etc) if someone has had a warrent served for them for desertion.

Also, I was wanting to know if people who may be assisting a soldier in hiding out from the military can be brought up on any charges.

What could be expected to happen.

I know of someone who is AWOL and was supposed to be posted as Deserter effective 12/2/05. I don't know exactly where he is, but I know people who probably do. The boy has gotten into a mess of trouble all because he wants to play house instead of fullfilling his responsibilities. I have tried to explain the seriousness of the matter to some of his friends and they don't believe that it is a serious situation. Any information that I can get will be appreciated. Maybe I can use it to convince his friends to quit assisting him in hiding out.
