a quick question

What is the name of your state? NC

Good day ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to ask a question which may or may not have happened. It certainly did not happen to me but rather an individual I might know. If some one was given NJP such as an article 15 and then two weeks later the COC can not find the paper work what would happen?

Thanks for your help and time.

Quick Answer: You are to vague! Many factor[s] involved-like depends who
the someone is in rank and time, etc. FYI: An Article 15 may be appealed.

Thanks Shorty Long. Was being vague on purpose as this isn't my lane but was curious as to the soldiers military future. Don't know who reads these boards so didn't want to put out too much info.

The individual is lower enlisted (E4 and below). The article 15 has been appealed and brigade commander didn't want to give him the change to talk. Maybe you can elborate if you have the chance as to why the above requested information is important relating to what would happen if the packet were lost. Just curious. Thanks for you reply.

WHAT? If by chance not in my opinion but in the opinion of someone else if it may have happened but may not have. Loose the double talk chief and just come out and say it.

First off I'm not a chief. Just so there are no confusion. I read, reread and read my orginal post again but still can not understand how you deciphered what you did. You seem to be pretty intelligent but I'll lay it out again.

These are the known thus far.

-Soldier recieved an article 15.
-Packet is now missing.
-My question: What does this mean for the soldier in question?

Thanks for your help and time.

Insulting people, good way to get some advice. Maybe you should view the other cases and posts to see the amount of detail that is usually included. Vague and almost political literary dancing isn't much help to the non-mind readers trying to figure out what the hell you are talking about.
Have the Soldier talk to the legal department. If the lost paperwork seems like more of a feet dragging tactic by the command, then a grievance seems to be in order. Just my two cents.

Insulting people? Call it what you wish. If you are referring to my reply to Real American in my opinion he/she IS a smart individual who responds with intelligent words and answers. I really had no idea how he/she read my post and then posted what they did. I read my question as a very basic question which to my understanding has at least two possible answers.

My posting to reading ratio is very low. I read much more than I post. Suggesting I did not read through the forum is an insult. Did you mean it that way? I don't know and honestly it isn't a concern of mine at the moment. Regardless as I posted earlier it isn't my lane to give the soldier advice on this issue. I have strongly disapproved of the COC's way of handling issues in the past and was curious to see if this problem is in line with my thoughts.

By the way thanks for the last bit of advice. I don't know if the lost paperwork is a feet dragging tatic or if they truely lost it.

Thanks to all who have helped.
