RC questions

What is the name of your state? KY

I have 2 reservist issues. First, I recently went on permanent profile with chronic patellar tendonitis in both knees. I have a 3 in my PULHES rating for lower extremities so my packet has been sent to MMRB. My commander said that it shouldn't be a retention issue unless I really wanted out. I spent a year in Iraq and that's enough adventure for me. So I assume that I have some kind of influence on the outcome?

Secondly, my enlistment contract contains a $3000 'enlistment' bonus. Well I've been in over 3 years and haven't seen a penny yet. As of right now I'm supposed to have 75% of it with the final 25% when I reach 4 years of service. I've talked to my UA several times (the answer is "I'm working on it, give me some time") and even went out of my way while I was deployed to re-submit my packet. So I know this is a breach of contract, but what can I do about it beside grab my ankles? It's irritating going to drill every month and upholding my end of the contract while the Army doesn't.

Thanks in advance for any help or adviceWhat is the name of your state?

I heard that is normal from a lot of family and friends I have in the Army.

The only reason my fiance and some of the guys got their bonuses within the first year is because a guy issued them when he wasn't suppose to..... This guy got a dishonorable for doing this.

BsB, I believe that bonuses are automated now so this doesn't happen. There are E1's and E2's fresh to the unit that already have theirs.
