Re-enlistment ContractWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alaska Hi, We are trying to find out if we have a case against the Army National Guard, last year my husband re-enlisted for 6 yrs. In his contract it says he's re-enlisting for $15,000,now after 1 yr they aresaying that he is not qualify for a bonus, because he is on AGR tour, but before he signed the papers he ask the recruiter if he is qualify for a bonus, cause he used to be in the recruiting team so he knows that if you are under an AGR contact you can't recieve a bonus,so the MSG made a call to doble check and said that he is qualified and was given a bonus control number. So,my question is since we already went to the chain of command to ask for help and went nowhere is this considered a breech of contract? And since the money wasn't issued to us and the reason why he re-enlist is because we know at that time our oldest daughter that was dying of cancer, and we know that we are going to need that money for financial purpose and due to the fact that he never recieve the money and we are now in so much debt and stress, are we entittle to ask for more than what was rightfully his?Thank u for your time. | you have 3 options at this point. 1. Keep the contract without the bonus. 2. Rewrite the contract under different terms. 3. Void the contract. You cannot ask for additional money.
