Re3 (a)

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

So my fiance was in the Army in 2006. He was diagnosed with kerataconus and was discharged with an RE3 (A), he is not sure which 3 but he knows that it requires a waiver to get back in. He received his DD214 but when he tried to enlist with the Marines, they took it and wouldn't not give it back.

As far as he knew he didn't have this condition when he went in. He had seen eye doctors before because he wears glasses, but none of the doctors had said anything about it until he was in Basic.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be done?

What can be done about what? His eye condition? He should see an optometrist or opthalmologist.

Getting a copy of his DD Fm 214? Google "eVetRecs". That will take him to a website allowing him to request a copy of his DD Fm 214 online (his signature will have to be faxed in).
