SGLI isues

Florida. .....
Me and my ex wife were both active duty military, after we got divorce she re-married. Not to long ago she passed away, she name her husband as her trustee for her SGLI (life insurance). Is there any law out there that keep him from running away with all the money and not given to her kids(3 of them ) one is from our marriage 2 from previews marriage.
